JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT USA® IS MARKING ITS CENTENNIAL AND CALLING FOR VOLUNTEERS WITH ITS “100 YEARS. 100% READY” PSA CAMPAIGN

JA connects volunteer mentors and young people to help children overcome difficulties

Junior Achievement "Brighter Future" PSA

Since it was founded in 1919, Junior Achievement USA® (www.JA.org/ready) has helped more than 100 million young people be better prepared to be successful adults. This has only been possible with the support of the countless volunteers who have helped deliver JA programs over the past century.

This PSA Campaign is called “Junior Achievement: 100 Years. 100% Ready.” It focuses on typical kids going about their daily lives but highlights the fact that many simply are not going to be fully prepared for their futures as adults. The PSA highlights how JA helps kids become “100% Ready” by preparing them with essential life skills, like how to work with money, start a business or gain the skills necessary for a successful career.

JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. Today, millions of children do not have access to the role models that they need in helping them to succeed and overcome issues such as peer pressure and economic instability.

JA matches interested adults with local schools to deliver life-changing experiences to students in communities across the country. By volunteering for a few hours in a classroom, role models may allow children to realize their full potential and allow the success they may have believed was unachievable.

JA is available in 107 communities in the United States. JA inspires and prepares young people for future success, helping them gain the skills necessary to accomplish their dreams.
