Dear Public Service Director,

What do Miss America 2016, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and IHOP have in common? They’re all observing IHOP’s eleventh annual National Pancake Day fundraiser event on Tuesday, March 8. On this day, IHOP hopes to raise $3.5 million benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and other local charities. Since its inception in 2006, IHOP’s National Pancake Day fundraiser has raised nearly $20 million dollars for children’s hospitals and other local charities across the country.

Miss America Betty Cantrell and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals co-founder Marie Osmond have shown their support for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals by filming television PSAs for your February rotation, and have :10, :15, and :30 spots available for your use. We are offering all video and audio files on a multimedia site built just for this project. 

We’d love to have your support for this fundraiser by adding one of our PSAs to your rotation. We are also happy to send PSA scripts for your announcers to read should you prefer your talent to be the spokespersons on the eleventh anniversary of this worthy effort.

The day-long fundraiser will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and participating IHOP restaurants will give away millions of free short stacks of buttermilk pancakes. In return, IHOP hopes that this will spur a generous spirit from guests, who will be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
