NATIONAL CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES ONLINE PLEDGE IN HONOR OF ASTHMA AWARENESS MONTH

Pledge to Raise Funding to Send Deserving Children with Asthma to Summer Camps Across the U.S.

Dear Public Service Director:

Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth has teamed up with the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) to raise awareness about the seriousness of asthma and the need for patients and caregivers to be prepared for potentially life threatening asthma attacks through a new public service announcement (enclosed).

Joining the more than 25 million people in the U.S. who suffer from asthma, Kristin understands the ways in which the condition can impact a person’s life. That’s why, Kristin is lending her voice to the Know Your Count program (www.KnowYourCount.com) in an effort to help educate asthma sufferers and their caregivers about the importance of tracking how many doses remain in their rescue inhalers. This practice can help better ensure that people with asthma will have medication on-hand when they need it most, such as during an asthma attack.

Please join Kristin and our team by airing this public service announcement, offered in 60 and 30 second versions, so that your viewers can learn about the seriousness of asthma and how to be prepared.

Thank you for your time,
Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America
